Couer d’Alene  
The Lithography Workshop will hold its 2009 meeting at the Coeur d’Alene Resort and Spa (www.cdaresort.com) in the city of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho from June 28 through July 2. The city of Coeur d’Alene is located approximately 25 miles from the Spokane International Airport. It is in the Coeur d’Alene Mountains, a segment of the Northern Rocky Mountains, and the Resort resides adjacent to the Coeur d’Alene Lake, a 30 mile long glacial lake with over 100 miles of shoreline. The local elevation is 2,125 feet (648 meters) above sea level. 

Couer d’Alene  Resort
The Coeur d’Alene Resort has been named “America’s best Mainland Resort” by the Conde Nest Traveler.  “Golf Digest” Magazine has named it as “America’s most beautiful resort golf course” and is the home of the world’s only floating golf-green. Along with the golf center and tennis courts are several fine dining restaurants and specialty shops and boutiques either on the premises or within walking distance of the resort. During the summer, there are many lake-related activities available.

The July 4th holiday will fall on the weekend after the Workshop. We have arranged with the Resort to honor the conference rates for 3 days before and after the meeting, allowing attendees to enjoy the resort during this holiday. The Resort is known to sponsor a spectacular fireworks display to celebrate the holiday.

The climate in Coeur d’Alene in June is mostly sunny with modest rainfall. The temperatures typically range from ~70o F (evening) to ~85o F (daytime).

Couer d’Alene  Resort Reservations
Reservations require a first-night deposit guaranteed with a major credit card. The credit card will be billed 60 days prior to arrival. Reservations must be made with the Couer d’Alene by June 10, 2009. After the June 10 cut-off, the group rate and room block will no longer exist and reservations will depend on availability. Deposits are refundable if a notice of cancellation is received 7 days prior to arrival. Check-in time is 3 p.m.; check-out
time is noon.

Please note that speakers, session chairmen, and committee members are responsible for making their own room reservations.

The Lithography Workshop room rates (single or double) are $209.00 per room night. We have negotiated these very attractive rates to extend 3 days before and 3 days after the Workshop room block. You can reserve rooms at this rate arriving as early as June 25 and departing on July 7.
