The Hotel
The Kaua'i Marriott Resort on Kalapaki Beach is a destination-resort encompassing a world class hotel adjacent to Kauai Lagoons Golf Club. Using a private access road, the hotel provides courtesy transportation to and from the airport. The hotel also has a Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course,  tennis courts, retail shops on property and within walking distance, four restaurants and lounges, a 26,000-square-foot swimming pool complex with five Jacuzzis and children’s pool as well as a  authentic collection of Hawaiian artifacts displayed throughout the 85-acre resort.
The Kaua'i Marriott Resort is located adjacent to the 800-acre Kaua'i Lagoons Golf Club. The resort, which provided the backdrop for the film South Pacific, is on Kalapaki Beach fronting Nawiliwili Bay on the island of Kauai, just a mile-and-a-half from Lihue. Together, the Kaua'i Marriott Resort and the Kauai Lagoons Golf Club encompass all the land from the ocean to the airport and includes a quarter of a mile of ocean coastline. Conference attendees will receive complementary internet access in their rooms as well as complementary fitness room access.
The $215.00 per room night Marriott resort group rate will honored from November 3 thru 15. Those attending the Workshop may wish to take advantage of the extra days to explore other regions of the area. The room-reservation cut-off date to receive the conference rate is October 22, 2010.
